Butterscotch Truffle Martini

The Butterscotch Truffle Martini is a dessert cocktail through and through — vodka shaken with butterscotch schnapps and a splash of crème de cacao. The butterscotch provides rich, caramel-like sweetness while the crème de cacao adds a subtle chocolate undertone. It emerged during the flavored Martini boom of the late 1990s and early 2000s, when bartenders were treating the Martini glass as a canvas for every conceivable flavor combination.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz butterscotch schnapps
  • 1 splash creme de cacao

Instructions

  1. Pour the vodka, butterscotch schnapps and creme de cacao into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well, strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and serve.
