There's something satisfying about a well-made Belmont Stakes. This bright and citrus-forward version uses vodka, gold rum, and strawberry liqueur for a result that's greater than the sum of its parts.
Ingredients
- 2 oz vodka
- 1 oz gold rum
- 1/2 oz strawberry liqueur
- 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp grenadine syrup
Instructions
- Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes.
- Shake well, and strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and a slice of orange, and serve.
