The Canadian Snake Bite is a spirit-forward shots-shooters made with 1 oz sambuca, 1 oz tequila and 2 – 3 dashes Tabasco® sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 oz sambuca
- 1 oz tequila
- 2 – 3 dashes Tabasco® sauce
Instructions
- Pour the Sambuca into a brandy snifter and the tequila seperately into a rocks or old-fashioned glass.
- Add a couple dashes of Tabasco sauce to the glass with tequila.
- Roll the Sambuca around the snifter (like a cement mixer), ignite, and allow to burn for a second or two.
- Pour the Sambuca into the tequila rocks glass and cap it with the brandy snifter so as to extinguish the flames.
- This should form some smoke within the glasses.
- Carefully lift the snifter and inhale the fumes, then pound the tequila and Sambuca mixture.
- Packs a pretty good wallop.
