Cape Cod Cooler

The Cape Cod Cooler takes its name from the classic Cape Codder — vodka and cranberry juice — but builds something more complex with sloe gin, regular gin, cranberry juice, lime juice, and orgeat syrup. Sloe gin, a sweet liqueur made from sloe berries steeped in gin, adds a plummy depth, while orgeat (an almond syrup common in tiki drinks) provides a subtle nutty sweetness. The dual-gin base keeps it spirit-forward even as the fruit juices and syrups add layers of flavor. Shaken and served over ice, it’s a Cape Codder grown up and gone to cocktail school.
