Martian Martini

The Martian Martini gets its extraterrestrial name from Midori melon liqueur, whose vivid green color gives the drink an otherworldly glow. Midori — Japanese for ‘green’ — was launched at Studio 54 in 1978 and quickly became a cocktail bar staple. Combined with gin, the melon liqueur’s sweet, honeydew character softens the juniper botanicals. It’s a visually striking drink that tastes friendlier than a traditional Martini.
