Papaya Milk Splash

Fresh papaya blended with milk and sugar into a thick, creamy tropical shake. This is a street-stall staple across Southeast Asia and Latin America, where ripe papayas are abundant and cheap. The papaya’s natural butteriness makes it one of the smoothest fruit shakes you can make.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 – 2 cups papaya
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Clean out the seeds and deskin the papaya.
  2. Add to a blender with the milk, sugar and ice, and blend at medium to high speed for one or two minutes.
  3. Serve immediately.
