Pineapple Liqueur

Zesty and Advanced to prepare, the Pineapple Liqueur features 400 g pineapples, 100 g sugar and 125 ml 151 proof rum.

Ingredients

  • 400 g pineapples
  • 100 g sugar
  • 125 ml 151 proof rum
  • 125 ml vodka
  • lemon juice
  • pineapple juice

Instructions

  1. Crush pineapple pieces very finely and add made with the sugar, to pineapple juice in a pan.
  2. Leave to stand overnight.
  3. Drain syrup and strain pineapple pieces through a cheese cloth or in a food processor.
  4. Mix juice with rum and vodka, and add lemon juice to taste.
  5. Pour into a 0.7 litre bottle and fill with pineapple juice or water.
  6. Leave for one week.
