Biscayne Cocktail

A mid-century classic named after Miami's Biscayne Bay. Gin and light rum share the base while Forbidden Fruit liqueur — a now-discontinued grapefruit and honey spirit — adds a bittersweet citrus depth that lime juice sharpens into something genuinely special. If you can find the liqueur, this is worth making.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz light rum
  • 1 oz Forbidden Fruit® liqueur
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

Instructions

  1. Pour the gin, light rum, forbidden fruit liqueur and lime juice into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with a slice of lime, and serve.
