Coffee Old-Fashioned

The Coffee Old-Fashioned works as well on a weeknight as it does at a party — warming flavors and done in under 5 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz bourbon whiskey
  • 2 dashes bitters
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 oz club soda
  • 2 tsp powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp instant coffee

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the instant coffee in the water in an old-fashioned glass.
  2. Gradually stir in the sugar, the bitters and the bourbon whiskey.
  3. Add ice, and top with club soda.
  4. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a slice of orange, and serve.

Serve In
