Pousse Cafe a la Francaise

The Pousse Cafe a la Francaise belongs in every home bartender's repertoire. With just 4 ingredients, you get a bold and warming drink that punches well above its weight.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 oz Green Chartreuse®
  • 1/2 oz maraschino liqueur
  • 1/2 oz cherry brandy
  • 1/2 oz Kummel® caraway liqueur

Instructions

  1. Pour the chartreuse into a pousse-cafe glass.
  2. Carefully float the maraschino liqueur on top by pouring slowly over the back of a teaspoon.
  3. Do the same with the cherry brandy, and then again with the kummel.
  4. Serve.
