Zocolo

There's something satisfying about a well-made Zocolo. This bright and tropical version uses dark rum, tequila, and pineapple juice for a result that's greater than the sum of its parts.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 1/2 oz tequila
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • 2 oz grapefruit juice
  • 2 oz club soda

Instructions

  1. Pour dark rum, tequila, pineapple juice and grapefruit juice into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well, and strain into a collins glass almost filled with ice cubes.
  3. Add club soda and stir well.
  4. Garnish with a slice of orange, a pineapple wedge, and a maraschino cherry.
  5. Serve.
