There's something satisfying about a well-made Alfonso. This celebratory version uses Dubonnet® French vermouth, es Angostura® bitters, and sugar for a result that's greater than the sum of its parts.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Dubonnet® French vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura® bitters
- 1 tsp sugar
- Champagne
Instructions
- In a wine glass, add the bitters to the sugar.
- Then add the dubonnet and a tsp.
- of ice.
- Fill the glass with champagne, stir gently and garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
