Alfonso

There's something satisfying about a well-made Alfonso. This celebratory version uses Dubonnet® French vermouth, es Angostura® bitters, and sugar for a result that's greater than the sum of its parts.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Dubonnet® French vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura® bitters
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Champagne

Instructions

  1. In a wine glass, add the bitters to the sugar.
  2. Then add the dubonnet and a tsp.
  3. of ice.
  4. Fill the glass with champagne, stir gently and garnish with a twist of lemon peel.

Serve In

White Wine Glass
