Apricot Sour

There's something satisfying about a well-made Apricot Sour. This tart and refreshing version uses apricot brandy, lemon juice, and superfine sugar for a result that's greater than the sum of its parts.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz apricot brandy
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp superfine sugar

Instructions

  1. Pour the apricot brandy, lemon juice and sugar into a cocktail glass half-filled with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well, and strain into a cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with an orange wedge and a maraschino cherry, and serve.
