A bright and citrusy drink featuring botanical gin, the Aviation blends 1 1/4 oz gin, 1/4 oz maraschino liqueur and juice of 1 lemons.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 oz gin
- 1/4 oz maraschino liqueur
- juice of 1 lemons
- 3 – 5 pinches sugar
Instructions
- Fill cocktail shaker with ice.
- Juice the lemon and add to the shaker.
- Add a little sugar, if desired.
- Pour in gin and maraschino, and shake.
- Serve straight up in a cocktail glass.
- The strict recipe does not have any sugar, but I like to add a little.
