The Body Shot is less a drink and more a social ritual that became a bar staple in the 1990s. Vodka is the spirit, but the real ingredients are a willing partner, a packet of sugar, and a lemon wedge. Sugar goes on the neck, vodka goes in the shot glass, and the lemon wedge goes in the partner’s mouth. Lick, shoot, bite — in that order. It’s theatrical, interactive, and arguably the cocktail world’s most successful party trick.

Ingredients
- 1 oz vodka
- 1 package sugar
- 1 lemon wedge
Instructions
- Using a partner of the opposite sex, lick their neck to moisten.
- Pour packet of sugar onto their neck.
- Place wedge of lemon in their mouth with the skin pointed inward.
- You first lick the sugar from their neck, then shoot the vodka, then suck the lemon from their mouth (while gently holding back of their neck).
