Bourbon Crusta

This tart recipe combines 1 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey, 1/2 oz Cointreau® orange liqueur and 2 tsp maraschino liqueur into a Advanced-to-make drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
  • 1/2 oz Cointreau® orange liqueur
  • 2 tsp maraschino liqueur
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp superfine sugar
  • 1 lemon wedge

Instructions

  1. Place the sugar in a saucer.
  2. Rub the rim of a wine goblet with a lemon wedge, and dip into the sugar to coat the rim thoroughly; discard lemon.
  3. Peel a spiral of orange peel and place inside the glass, draped over one side.
  4. Fill with crushed ice.
  5. Combine the bourbon whiskey, Cointreau, maraschino and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker.
  6. Shake well, strain into the glass, and serve.
