Chelsea Sidecar

The Chelsea Sidecar swaps the original Sidecar’s cognac for gin, creating a distinctly botanical take on the classic template. Gin, triple sec, and lemon juice — the same sour structure as a Sidecar, but the gin’s juniper and herbal notes take it in an entirely different direction. It’s essentially a more citrus-forward variation of a White Lady, and the name suggests origins in London’s Chelsea neighborhood. Shaken and strained into a cocktail glass, it’s bright, crisp, and proof that the Sidecar template works beautifully with almost any base spirit.
