The Citrus Mist Colada takes the Piña Colada in an unexpected direction by using Canadian Mist whisky as its base instead of rum. Blended with Piña Colada mix and topped with lemon-lime soda, it’s a curious hybrid that combines the tropical template with whisky’s warmth. Canadian whisky’s lighter, smoother character actually works surprisingly well with coconut and pineapple — less traditional, but genuinely refreshing.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Canadian Mist® whisky
- 4 1/2 oz pina colada mix
- 2 oz lemon-lime soda
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender; blend until thick.
- Pour into an old-fashioned glass.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a slice of lime, and serve.
