The Coconut Colada doubles down on the coconut by using coconut rum as the base spirit, mixing it with pineapple juice and milk. Where the classic Piña Colada uses plain rum with coconut cream, this version starts with coconut flavor built into the rum itself. The milk adds a creamy body without the heaviness of cream of coconut. Shaken with crushed ice, it’s a lighter take on the Colada that’s all about coconut.
