The Cuban Sour follows the sour template with rum, sugar, and lime juice — essentially a daiquiri by another name, though the sour glass and preparation style give it a slightly different character. Cuba’s rum traditions heavily influenced American cocktail culture, and this sour represents the simplest expression of that exchange: good rum, fresh lime, and just enough sugar to balance the acidity.
