Frozen Daiquiri

The Frozen Daiquiri starts with light rum and finishes bubbly. At 6 ingredients, it hits the sweet spot between simple and interesting.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz light rum
  • 1 tbsp triple sec
  • 1 1/2 oz lime juice
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cherry
  • 1 cup crushed ice

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients (except for the cherry) in an electric blender and blend at a low speed for five seconds, then blend at a high speed until firm.
  2. Pour contents into a champagne flute, top with the cherry, and serve.
