Gin Sangaree

The Gin Sangaree does one thing well: botanical with a clean edge. Made with gin, carbonated water, and port.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin
  • carbonated water
  • 1 tbsp port
  • 1/2 tsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp water
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Dissolve powdered sugar in water and add gin.
  2. Pour into a highball glass over 2 ice cubes.
  3. Fill with carbonated water and stir.
  4. Float port on top, sprinkle lightly with nutmeg, and serve.
