Guavaberry liqueur, crème de coconut, and pineapple juice blended with crushed ice, topped with a dash of juice and fresh nutmeg. Guavaberry is a Caribbean specialty — a spiced berry liqueur from the Dutch Antilles — and it gives this colada a warm, spicy depth that regular fruit can't match.
Ingredients
- 1 oz guavaberry liqueur
- 1/2 oz creme de coconut
- 1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
Instructions
- Pour all ingredients into a blender with 1/4 cup crushed ice.
- Blend well.
- Pour into a cocktail glass, and top with a dash of pineapple juice.
- Garnish with fresh grated nutmeg and a pineapple wedge, and serve.
