Hurricane Leah is essentially a Long Island Iced Tea in Hurricane’s clothing — light rum, gin, vodka, tequila, and Blue Curaçao in a single glass. The blue curaçao replaces the traditional cola topper, giving the drink a vivid blue color and an orange-liqueur sweetness. With five spirits in the mix, this is a potent hurricane that lives up to its name. One is plenty; two is an event.
Ingredients
- 1/4 oz light rum
- 1/4 oz gin
- 1/4 oz vodka
- 1/4 oz tequila
- 1/4 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
- 1 dash cherry brandy
- 3 oz sweet and sour mix
- 3 oz orange juice
Instructions
- Pour over ice into a hurricane glass, and stir.
- Garnish with an orange peel.
