Lassi – Mango

Ripe mango pulp blended with yoghurt, sugar, and iced water — the Mango Lassi is one of India’s most beloved drinks and a staple at Indian restaurants worldwide. The key is using fully ripe, sweet mangoes (Alphonso if you can find them). The yoghurt’s tanginess balances the mango’s sweetness perfectly.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mango pulps
  • 2 cups yoghurt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup iced water

Instructions

  1. Add to a blender and pour over crushed ice.
  2. You can also use other fruits like strawberries and bananas.
