Another take on the Lemon Drop, this version keeps things cleaner with just Absolut vodka and Cointreau — the premium French orange liqueur adding more nuanced citrus than standard triple sec. Shaken with ice, strained, and served with a sugared rim, it’s a slightly more refined approach to the same sweet-tart template. The Lemon Drop has been a staple of the vodka cocktail renaissance since its invention in 1970s San Francisco, and its enduring popularity comes down to that irresistible combination of sugar, citrus, and cold vodka.
