Gin in a Collins glass with a separate shaker of grenadine, sugar, and sour mix strained over it, topped with club soda. The grenadine-sweetened sour mix creates a pink, tart layer over the gin, and the soda gives it lift. A dressed-up gin fizz with a rosy twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz gin
  • 3 oz sweet and sour mix
  • 1 oz club soda
  • 1/2 oz grenadine syrup
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Pour the gin into a collins glass 3/4 filled with ice cubes.
  2. Combine the grenadine, sugar and sour mix in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes.
  3. Shake well.
  4. Strain into the collins glass.
  5. Add club soda, stir gently, and serve.
