Monastery Cocktail

The magic of the Monastery Cocktail is how hot coffee, benedictine herbal liqueur, and heavy cream play off each other — the result is velvety smooth and genuinely enjoyable.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz hot coffee
  • 2 oz benedictine herbal liqueur
  • 2 oz heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Pour the coffee into an Irish coffee cup or glass.
  2. Add the sugar; stir to dissolve.
  3. Add the benedictine and stir again.
  4. Pour the cream carefully over the back of a teaspoon to float on top, and serve.
