A stiff drink anchored by rich whiskey, the Pineapple Julep blends 4 fresh mint sprigs, 3 ripe pineapple wedges and 1 oz simple syrup.
Ingredients
- 4 fresh mint sprigs
- 3 ripe pineapple wedges
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 2 oz bourbon whiskey
Instructions
- Muddle the leaves from two sprigs of mint made with the pineapple wedges and simply syrup, in a mixing glass.
- Add bourbon and ice, and shake well.
- Strain into a highball glass filled with crushed ice, and stir well until frosted.
- Garnish with two further mint sprigs, and serve.
