Bird of Paradise Cooler

The Bird of Paradise Cooler belongs in every home bartender's repertoire. With just 6 ingredients, you get a aromatic and complex drink that punches well above its weight.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp grenadine syrup
  • 1 tsp superfine sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • soda water

Instructions

  1. Pour the gin, lemon juice, grenadine, superfine sugar and egg white into a cocktail shaker half-filled with cracked ice.
  2. Shake well, and strain into a highball glass filled with ice cubes.
  3. Fill with soda/sparkling water.
  4. Stir well, and serve.

Serve In
