The Burfentailor starts with sweet vermouth and finishes herbaceous. At 6 ingredients, it hits the sweet spot between simple and interesting.
Ingredients
- 1 oz sweet vermouth
- 1/2 oz gin
- 1/2 oz brandy
- 2 tsp Pernod® licorice liqueur
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp grenadine syrup
Instructions
- Pour vermouth, gin, brandy, Pernod, lemon juice and grenadine into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes.
- Shake well, and strain into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry, and serve.
