A well-crafted drink with layered character, the Crimson Sunset is made with gin, lemon juice, and grenadine syrup. Nothing more, nothing less.
Ingredients
- 2 oz gin
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp grenadine syrup
- 1/2 oz tawny port
Instructions
- Pour the gin and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a cocktail glass.
- Drop the grenadine into the center of the drink and float port on top.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry, and serve.
