Ladies Sidecar

The Ladies Sidecar lightens the classic Sidecar formula by reducing the proportions and adding orange juice alongside the traditional lemon juice and triple sec. With brandy as the base, it follows the same cognac-citrus-orange liqueur template but in a gentler, more fruit-forward expression. The name — however dated — reflects an era when bartenders created ‘lighter’ versions of strong cocktails specifically for female patrons.

  • 1/4 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz brandy
