Molokai Mike

Crisp and Advanced to prepare, the Molokai Mike features 1 oz white rum, 1/2 oz brandy and 1 oz orange juice.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz white rum
  • 1/2 oz brandy
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz almond syrup
  • 1/2 oz dark rum
  • 1/3 oz grenadine syrup

Instructions

  1. Shake white rum, brandy, juices and almond syrup together in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Strain into a highball glass two-thirds filled with crushed ice and mix.
  3. Combine dark rum and grenadine with sufficient crushed ice to produce a sorbet/sherbet, and gently add to the top of the cocktail.
  4. Garnish with in-season fruit, and serve with straws.
