The Portuguese Daisy — 5 ingredients, tart and refreshing flavors, no unnecessary complexity.
Ingredients
- 2 oz ruby port
- 1 oz brandy
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp superfine sugar
- 1/2 tsp grenadine syrup
Instructions
- Pour the port, brandy, lemon juice, sugar and grenadine into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes.
- Shake well and pour into an old-fashioned glass.
- Garnish with a lemon wedge, and serve.
