Tomato Lassi

A savory Indian-style lassi combining yoghurt with tomato juice, water, salt, and celery salt. It’s a Bloody Mary filtered through South Asian yoghurt drink traditions — tangy, savory, and probiotic-rich. Unusual but surprisingly refreshing, especially alongside spicy food.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz plain yoghurt
  • 2 oz tomato juice
  • 4 oz water
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp celery salt

Instructions

  1. Place the yogurt, tomato juice, water and salt in a blender; blend thoroughly.
  2. Pour into a collins glass almost filled with ice cubes.
  3. Add celery salt/seed and stir thoroughly.

Serve In
