A tantalizing recipe for Whiskey Sangaree made with blended whiskey, tawny port, club soda, water, superfine sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz blended whiskey
1/2 oz tawny port
2 1/2 oz club soda
2 tsp water
1 tsp superfine sugar
1 pinch grated nutmeg
1 pinch ground cinnamon
Method:
Dissolve the sugar in the water and whiskey in a highball glass. Almost fill the glass with crushed ice and add club soda. Float tawny port on top. Garnish with a lemon twist, and dust with nutmeg and cinnamon. Serve.
