A tropical riff on the 1980s beach bar classic, the Creamy Sex on the Beach swaps out the standard vodka-and-juice formula for something richer and more indulgent. Coconut rum joins the vodka, peach schnapps meets pineapple juice instead of cranberry, and a splash of grenadine provides the sunset color. The finishing touch — whipped cream — pushes it from cocktail into dessert territory. It’s the kind of frozen-beach-vacation drink that doesn’t pretend to be anything other than pure, sweet escapism.
Ingredients
- 1/2 oz vodka
- 1/2 oz Malibu® coconut rum
- 1/2 oz peach schnapps
- 1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
- 1 splash grenadine syrup
- 1 oz whipped cream
Instructions
- Pour the vodka, Malibu rum, peach schnapps, pineapple juice and grenadine into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes.
- Add the whipped cream, and shake vigorously until frothy.
- Pour into a small highball glass or equivalent, and serve.
