A bright and citrusy drink featuring botanical gin, the Gin Cup blends 3 oz gin, 1 tsp sugar syrup and 3/4 – 1 oz lemon juice.
Ingredients
- 3 oz gin
- 1 tsp sugar syrup
- 3/4 – 1 oz lemon juice
- 3 mint sprigs
- ice
Instructions
- Place the mint sprigs and sugar syrup in the bottom of an old-fashioned glass.
- Stir about to bruise the mint slightly.
- Fill the glass with chopped / shaved ice.
- Add the lemon juice and gin and stir until a frost begins to form.
- Decorate with extra mint sprigs, and serve.
