Gin Cup

A bright and citrusy drink featuring botanical gin, the Gin Cup blends 3 oz gin, 1 tsp sugar syrup and 3/4 – 1 oz lemon juice.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz gin
  • 1 tsp sugar syrup
  • 3/4 – 1 oz lemon juice
  • 3 mint sprigs
  • ice

Instructions

  1. Place the mint sprigs and sugar syrup in the bottom of an old-fashioned glass.
  2. Stir about to bruise the mint slightly.
  3. Fill the glass with chopped / shaved ice.
  4. Add the lemon juice and gin and stir until a frost begins to form.
  5. Decorate with extra mint sprigs, and serve.
