A silky drink anchored by rich whiskey, the New York Flip blends 3/4 oz tawny port, 1 oz bourbon whiskey and 3/4 oz cream.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 oz tawny port
  • 1 oz bourbon whiskey
  • 3/4 oz cream
  • 1/4 oz sugar syrup
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 pinch nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Shake well over ice cubes in a shaker.
  2. Strain into a cocktail glass, sprinkle with nutmeg, and serve.
