Raspberry Citrus Punch

A large-batch fruit punch combining canned pineapple, strained orange juice, water, sugar, and fresh raspberries. The scale is impressive — nearly a gallon of pineapple alone — making this a punch for weddings, reunions, and major celebrations. The raspberries add color and tart berry flavor.

Ingredients

  • 92 oz canned pineapples
  • 8 cups strained orange juice
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 46 oz can grapefruit juice
  • 2 qt chilled soda water
  • 2 qt chilled ginger ale

Instructions

  1. Force raspberries through a sieve to remove the seeds.
  2. Combine sugar and water in saucepan.
  3. Bring to a boil and boil until sugar is dissolved to make a simple syrup.
  4. Combine orange juice, raspberries, pineapple juice, grapefruit juice and simple syrup.
  5. Chill.
  6. When ready to serve, add soda water and ginger ale.
  7. (Serves 100.)
