If you like your drinks citrusy, the Whiskey Sangaree is exactly what you're looking for. Blended whiskey, tawny port, and club soda come together in a way that works every time.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz blended whiskey
- 1/2 oz tawny port
- 2 1/2 oz club soda
- 2 tsp water
- 1 tsp superfine sugar
- 1 pinch grated nutmeg
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Dissolve the sugar in the water and whiskey in a highball glass.
- Almost fill the glass with crushed ice and add club soda.
- Float tawny port on top.
- Garnish with a lemon twist, and dust with nutmeg and cinnamon.
- Serve.
