The Borinquen — 5 ingredients, bright and citrus-forward flavors, no unnecessary complexity.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz light rum
  • 1 tsp 151 proof rum
  • 1 tbsp passion-fruit syrup
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz lime juice

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients with 1/2 cup crushed ice in an electric blender.
  2. Blend at a low speed for a short length of time.
  3. Pour into an old-fashioned glass and serve.

Serve In
